literally 2016 moodboard lesbian tumblr was like a mass pysop to shift the public image of gay women from fat butch women to thin pale people in American apparel tennis skirts in a bid for acceptance from Big The Cw and its stans and I guess it worked because now allegedly 25% of movies have gay people in them and you can be a thin white gay girl and still be a princess Polly influencer or be a thin white stick and poke mullet queer and be in a Levi’s campaign but everyone’s like still actually deeply homophobic bc we never addressed how much the vilification of the big fat loud butch woman is like at the root of the reason all of us were scared to be gay in the first place so yeah. also I don’t actually know what psyop means
